8th April: Print-based assessment. Subject: "Landscape/Seascape"

On the surface, this topic seems pretty self-explanatory, at least as far as subject matter is concerned. Remember, however, there are countless amazing, stunning, beautiful, exotic images of this genre out there in the world. With that in mind, try to elevate your image above the sea of technically perfect but otherwise clichéd, often soul-less images. Of course you should try to exploit morning or evening light for mood enhancement, but go a step further and try to incorporate something of interest in your scene, something that tells a story in in your image. It might be human activity or something else. Then you will make it unique.
